Once upon a time
a Venezuelan traveling with espadrilles went to visit Aranjuez. She's really
beginning! what happens is that because it is such a beautiful town with a huge
Royal Palace and beautiful gardens, to reach Aranjuez feel you enter a fairy
tale.
My journey began
when I took the train from Sol metro station in Madrid to Aranjuez. The tour
lasted about 40 minutes, which looked out the window the residential areas of
Madrid, which have many buildings, mostly decorated with bricks.
The first thing
I liked about Aranjuez was the train station because it is very large and
decorative. When I saw the map at the station I realized that was quite far
from Madrid, but close by the train ride. This interesting Spanish village is
located 42 km south of Madrid and 494 meters above sea level in the area of
the railway station.
Internet
landmarks appear as the Royal Palace, Plaza de Parejas, the Garden Island and
Parterre Garden, and it turns out they are located very close. You can make the
journey walking calmly and slowly. You'll also get the Tagus River near the
Palace. About the history of Aranjuez I can tell you is one of the Royal Sites
of the Crown of Spain since Philip II and appointed him in 1560, but also has
the town title since 1899, why the town is known as Real site and Villa de
Aranjuez.
It is famous for
its Royal Palace and Gardens, places chosen by the King to spend spring.
Similarly, this town is known for its orchards of strawberries and asparagus.
So there are many reasons to visit this wonderful Spanish town. We are walking
around.
